Tommy Krizanovic, Director

My name is Tommy Krizanovic and I am the Owner of HappyFeet Soccer Jacksonville. My mission is to give children the opportunity to develop as brave and creative Soccer Players under our HappyFeet Soccer program. I have played Soccer since I was 5 years old and have had the chance to play all over the world. After my 4 years of Division 1 College at Jacksonville University, I was fortunate to sign my first professional contract with FC Dallas from the MLS. A year later my career took me to Germany where I played for Offenburger FV. In 2009 I decided to come back to the US and decided to play for our local Jacksonville United (now Armada U23’s) as well as coach at Jacksonville FC, the largest youth club in Northeast Florida. I played for several years with Jacksonville United until the Jacksonville Armada became a NASL franchise here in Jacksonville. I signed with the Jacksonville Armada FC a contract for the 2015 Season and incredibly enjoyed playing not only in front of an amazing home crowd but also for my new home, Jacksonville.

While playing, I have been a youth coach in the Jacksonville area for Jacksonville Armada FC. I have coached age groups from U10 to U18 including working with our Development Academy boys groups and ECNL girls groups while now with the Jacksonville Armada U23 and holding a advanced national diploma while currently coaching the 2004 and 2005 DA teams. I decided to create a HappyFeet Soccer franchise here in Jacksonville because I am a strong believer in our philosophy. Soccer should be fun at any age and I want our children to develop to the best of their abilities. Our program encourages young players to be brave, creative, and take risks. Making mistakes is the best way to learn and we certainly don't shy away from encouraging bravery and creativity. Through our HappyFeet Soccer program we aim to give your children the best possible Soccer experience.

What do you like most about teaching the Shining Stars Way?

I love watching Wall flowers slowly come out of their shell. Seeing children who started off shy feel confident to speak infront of their peers is a heartwarming transformation.
